Classic-Remise If you like cars, this is a must– originally used as a tram depot, the Classic Remise in Berlin reopened in 2003 as one of the first classic car centers of its kind worldwide. It exhibits various vintage cars and collectors' items and serves as a garage and dealer for these old vehicles. Car enthusiasts can also visit several boutiques specializing in model cars, accessories, clothing or even spare parts. This limited attendance experience takes you on an automotive journey through the world of vintage cars.  (Photo:  DERDEHMEL)

ICA 2018 is on the road again: From 26 to 28 April 2017 the ICA 2018 team will visit the DAV Annual Meeting in Berlin. In line with the general topic of the congress, “Demographic change”, the participants can try the ICA 2018 ageing tool to see what they will look like in 30, 40 or 50 years time. Goldeni-CA_Plakat_kleinDuring the evening event all particpiants can take part in the film quiz "GoldenI(CA)". With each correct answer participants support the charity campaign “Actuaries For Actuaries” to finance extra scholarships for actuaries from emerging countries or smaller actuarial associations.   We thank our Silver Partner, Debeka, for sponsoring the morphing software and the ICA 2018 quiz Game "GoldenI(CA)".

1303_OttoBock_Exterieur04_0122_final_klein In our new series we want to introduce the seven locations and the program of the limited attendance experiences available at the ICA 2018. The first issue features the Ottobock Science Center, located at the Potsdamer Platz. The Science Center Berlin represents the medtech company Ottobock in the capital city. At first glance, the modern architecture of the building – also known as the “muscle house” – catches the visitor’s attention. Approximately 100,000 people visit the Science Center every year.

With around 12.5 million visitors a year Berlin ranks as one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. From the famous landmark of the Brandenburg Gate, the symbol for the division and unification of Germany, to the Reichstag, the seat of the German government – the city has many interesting sights to offer. With the Highlights Tour on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon you will get the perfect introduction to Berlin’s centre and its most famous landmarks.
